Toddler nursing

Anyone who has nursed a toddler knows how fun this is :)
Milk seems to taste better upside down.

What a great picture! The best is when they try to flip all the way around while still latched on. I never knew my nipple could twist that far. :D Thanks for posting this, it brings back so many great memories.

So true, yesterday we were laying in bed nursing and my daughter was rolling back and forth on top of me while staying latched, I was amazed my nipple didn't fall off from all the twisting and turning...hehe

Hahaha! So true! Your picture makes me laugh hard! When my daughter's first birthday came and went, I did not even consider stopping breastfeeding- it was and still is the main source of her food. I read Dr. Sears and other experts advice and then did what I thought was best for me and my daughter. I did not feed her solid foods until she was a year old because food allergies prominent in my family. When people ask when I will stop, I joke off their curiosity with, "Oh maybe by the time she goes to college." (I really want to say its none of your business.) Breastfeeding is the most natural thing in the world and I am sick and tired of other people's ignorance to that fact. Its not natural to feed your baby formula. Its not natural to wean before the baby is ready. So many other moms and doctors are giving new moms bad advice and new moms are not reading up and making their own decisions about breastfeeding. I love your blog! I am proud of you for writing it! Congrats on the extended nursing. I long for a day when extended nursing is the norm and no mother would think of giving her precious baby formulated junk! I think the baby food line up should be: your own breast milk first if you can then if you can't donated breast milk and then very last on the list formula. Any breast milk is better than formula.
